Why? Because every time he showed up I was blasting music. The name stuck and my friends lovingly called me Jam Jam from that day forward. I relate to the name because of the jam format of skateboard contests, musicians collaborating and hey Bob said “we’re jammin”. So let it be, Jam Jam Productions was born.

Over 26 years ago I trained as a Graphic Designer (graduating w/ honours), to get into a post diploma Video Production program. That began my “official” journey as a Communication Artist. Design became invaluable as it taught me composition, typography, contrast and effective communication through visuals. All apply to Film Production. I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was a young skater at 13. When I got older surpassing my own sponsorships I worked as a camera operator, documenting Canada’s premiere talent. Countless athletes have received their first sponsorships then continued on to professional status, because of our work together. It’s always been my real passion and has given me everything. My shots and edits have been featured on Much Music/Music Plus (The Under Attack Show), national and international TV networks (RideGuide TV) and many many core videos. In 2011 I was the first to release online, part by part, a 2hr skateboard film called slice life: streets are watching. This is now common practice.

Throughout the years clients like Airmiles, Blackberry, the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games and Canada Post have taught me to be on time and deliver quality work. I’ve also partnered with emerging artists from every background to foster a continued education while passing down knowledge. I want people to succeed. My job is to help them get there because individuals took a chance on me.

Currently I have worked as a Production Coordinator (3+ yrs) and started my journey as a Manager in early 2020. Don’t worry, I started at the bottom, picking up garbage and driving trucks. Many crews have trained me up the ranks to where I am now. I’m grateful for their support also. I value my PAs and respect them. If there’s a problem we fix it.

A small studio in North Vancouver is where I live stream DJ sets, edit and produce videos to stay sharp. With an ever growing kit to effectively stream our Commercial Film Productions to the Client, Agency & Director in this new environment.

I love my job. If you want a calm, no BS, supporter of equal opportunities, experienced crew member on your team… Let’s work together.

Jam Jam Productions List of Services:

– Production Manager
– Talent Coordinator
– Streaming Tech
– Light Studies
– Camera Operator
– Editor
– Set DJ
– Graphic Designer
– Photographer
– Skateboard/Snowboard Specialist & Talent Recruiter
– Mobile Internet & Wifi Rentals
– Recording Engineer (Training)

Please feel free to request samples of work, resumé and references.
